Applying for Financial Aid
Applying for financial aid at the Boston Architectural College (BAC) is a simple process that begins in January of each year. The priority deadline for applications is April 15. While students may complete FAFSAs throughout the academic year, applying by the priority deadline ensures consideration for the best possible financial aid package. Although some of our limited financial aid funds may be exhausted after the priority deadline, many students are eligible for federal student loans.
Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
The FAFSA is used to apply for all need-based aid at the BAC. Sources of need-based aid include federal and state grants. Students may complete the FAFSA online. As the name implies, there is no charge for submitting this form.
Complete the FAFSA online. Please be sure to list The Boston Architectural College's school code of 003966 to insure that the FAFSA will be received by the school within three business days after completion. Please be sure that both the student and parent (if applicable) sign the FAFSA. Paper FAFSA applications are also available for students, however it is recommended that students complete the process online for ease and speed.
Once the BAC has received a student's FAFSA they may be chosen for verification. Selection for verification means additional documents may be required (i.e. tax transcripts, federal W-2, proof of citizenship, etc). The financial aid office will notify selected students via a letter listing the required documents. If you have any questions about the financial aid application process, please call the Financial Aid Office at: (617) 585-0125 or contact us via e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org. We are happy to assist you.
