This course provides incoming students with tools that will help them succeed at the Boston Architectural College and beyond. Lectures, discussions, and assignments are aimed at understanding the opportunities for active, engaged, and responsible thinking in the College environment. Topics include the significance of a liberal education for all professions; the meaning and importance of craftsmanship; building and maintaining community; learning Boston cultures; and leadership and strategic thinking. Accompanying workshops will provide students with a working knowledge of the BAC's educational and student support practices.
