Welcome to Professional & Continuing Education at the Boston Architectural College!
Professional & Continuing Education (P&CE) in collaboration with the Landscape Institute and the Sustainable Design Institute offers a spectrum of educational options in design fields. From one day workshops and individual courses to certificate programs and travel excursions; there are a variety of opportunities to suit your goals!
Many students join P&CE for professional development, a career change, or to pursue a personal interest. Our courses and scheduling are designed to meet the needs of a diverse population and offer:
- Your Choice Enrollment: register for one or multiple courses from any P&CE or Institute program.
- Flexible scheduling: evenings, weekends, partially and fully online courses, and one day workshops.
- Various credit options: non-credit, AIA, continuing education units (CEU'S), undergraduate and graduate.
- Certificate Programs: chose from 12 certificate programs.
Certificate Programs
For students interested in a directed program of study, we recommend enrolling in a certificate program. To date P&CE, the Landscape Institute and the Sustainable Design Institute offer 12 certificate programs.
- Program length: most certificates can be completed in under 14 months.
- Admissions Requirements: vary by program, but most do not require a college degree.
