        A Conservation Project: Malta

        A Conservation Project: Malta reports the findings and recommendations of students based on their Malta Intensive Week Projects for the Architectural Materials Conservation: Philosophy, Methods, and Practice course.

        Through a distance/ low-residency program that includes brief periods of intensive study in Boston, the BAC's online Master of Design Studies in Historic Preservation prepares you for a rewarding role in the historic preservation field. In study with leading scholars and practitioners from the field combined with shared learning in a cohort of committed colleagues, you will gain the expertise and leadership skills required to celebrate and preserve the buildings and cultural landscapes of our history.

        Approach

        The Master of Design Studies in Historic Preservation is delivered in a unique format that combines online learning with brief periods of intensive study in Boston. A capstone project is included in the degree, connecting theory and practice through mentored research and design.         Curriculum

        The BAC is a member of the National Council for Preservation Education (NCPE). The MDS in Historic Preservation meets the standards for degree granting programs established by NCPE.
