BAC Inaugural trip to National College of Arts Rawalpindi, Pakistan

On November 14th, the Boston Architectural College's Director of Historic Preservation Studies Bob Ogle and Sharon Matthews, Director of Global Initiatives, along with William Remsen, Chief Preservation Architect at International Preservation Associates, Inc., travelled to the National College of Arts in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. This inaugural trip coincided with the announcement that the BAC has entered into a Cooperative Agreement Contract with the National College of Arts (NCA) to develop a curriculum, build capacity, and add online capabilities through student and faculty exchanges in the discipline of Historic Preservation. The goals of the partnership include promotion of professional development and expansion of cultural awareness through faculty and student exchanges, conducting scholarly research, development of a heritage conservation field school, and establishment of a robust online course delivery system to expand accessibility to quality design and heritage conservation education. The photos in this gallery were taken on the initial visit by the BAC team while in Pakistan.
