The 3rd annual Breakthrough: Women in Design symposium was held on April 12, 2012. Hosted by the BAC NOMAS chapter, the evening celebrated the legacy of the first African-American female registered architect, Norma Merrick Sklarek, FAIA.
In celebration of Sklarek, the evening was filled with thought-provoking presentations and discussions with industry leaders and emerging professionals from all areas of the design field.
