Sad Passing - Jonathan Dailey

A Message from President Ted Landsmark

A Message from President Ted Landsmark:

I am sorry to share the tragic news of our student Jonathan Dailey's untimely death. We extend our condolences to Jonathan's family and loved ones on behalf of the entire BAC community. Dean of Students Richard Griswold has posted the following message on the student blog.

          Dr. Ted Landsmark, President

I am sad to say that we have lost a member of our community. Media reports confirm that the body found earlier Tuesday is that of Jonathan Dailey. This is news that we all hoped would not come. Jonathan's untimely death comes as a shock to us all. Jonathan was registered at the BAC as a first-year M.Arch. student during the 2011-12 academic year. He transferred to Boston from his home in Charlotte, North Carolina to pursue his passion for architecture in the BAC's program. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jonathan's family and loved ones.

Grief counseling will be available on campus. Please contact me for more details.
Also, remember that students can contact the BAC's Student Assistance Program -- AllOne Health Resources, that can provide free, confidential 24/7 support and counseling referrals at 800-756-3124 or click here.
