Adam is an Associate Principal at Cambridge Seven Associates, Inc., and he teaches the Advanced Architecture Studio at BAC. He believes that architecture is not self expression but the noble and rigorous work of meeting needs. His studio explores the relationship between a building's location in its landscape and its constituents. Students' understanding of this relationship helps to mitigate the realities of construction with the needs of users while honing an appreciation of material sensuality and spatial experience.
