Elizabeth Spatola is a Master of Interior Architecture candidate at the BAC. She received her undergraduate degree in Communications from Boston College. Upon graduating, she moved to San Diego and worked for six years with the San Diego Chargers in the scouting and football operations department.
Growing up in Hingham and Boston, MA, she has always been surrounded by beautiful, historic homes and architecture. She developed a great appreciation for design at a young age and it developed into a hobby - something she would always read about and loved to see. Over the years, Elizabeth realized that while she loved architecture, she was much more drawn to interior spaces - where people live, work and function in their daily lives.
Making a huge life change to return to Boston and start her master's degree is something Elizabeth is proud of. She took a leap of faith to start something she was really interested in and that she wanted to make her career path. Her most positive experience so far is finding out what a great community the BAC is.
"People are friendly, interested in what everyone else is doing and working on, and everyone seems to always be willing to help someone else out. While there are many students at the BAC, and it is in the middle of Boston, it manages to have a very close-knit community of students, instructors, administrators and alumni."
Elizabeth is currently working as a Designer at Dyer Brown.
