When Gretchen Fox, CEO, founded Fox in 1988, she recognized that business relocations, which should be viewed as strategic opportunities, were often handled casually, resulting in time lost, cost overruns, and unnecessary internal stress. By looking at transitions at the strategic level, Gretchen was able to build best-practice methodologies that coordinated all elements (e.g., design, construction, furnishing and move) of a transition into one cohesive plan, to minimize stress and business disruption and to provide opportunity to leverage positive change through all layers of an organization.

After serving as President of Fox for 23 years, during which Fox grew to become a full service project management company, Gretchen was pleased to name Peter Stein as President in April of 2011. Gretchen remains fully engaged in maintaining client relationships and developing company strategy. In addition, she focuses much of her attention on community activities and has been involved in helping create affordable housing options for disabled adults for many years.

Gretchen Fox attended Randolph-Macon Woman's College in Lynchburg, VA, and earned her MBA from Simmons Graduate School of Management.
