Helena LeClair

Helena Leclair is a faculty member at The Boston Architectural College. Helena is an artist and registered architect interested in engaging the public at various scales in order to redirect their consciousness and encourage new relationships between themselves, the social realm, and the built environment. She has taught Foundation Studios at the BAC since 2012.

Helena currently works as an architect for the firm of Perry Dean Rogers Partners | Architects in Boston. Some recent projects include academic library renovations and a new university admissions center. Prior to Perry Dean Rogers, Helena worked at the residential architecture firm of Aamodt Plumb Architects in Cambridge, MA.

Helena received her Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University followed by a Master in Design Studies from Harvard Graduate School of Design. While at Harvard, Helena and collaborator Melissa Kit Chow founded mk + H. Working at the intersection of installation art, architecture, and product design, mk + H has built an artistic practice around a desire to interrupt habitual patterns of movement and experience in order to reveal moments of unexpected beauty in everyday phenomena.

Helena has served as guest critic on architectural design reviews at The Boston Architectural College, Northeastern University, and Wentworth Institute of Technology.
