Holly Arnold

Holly is an architectural designer and graduated with a Master of Architecture from The Boston Architectural College in 2014, and she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Virginia Commonwealth University. As a student, she was actively involved in community-engaging Gateway projects, such as leading design efforts of the Ecotopian House, a Passive House for a post-homeless community on Cape Cod. She spent several years as a teaching assistant for undergraduate and graduate level studios, providing accessible mentorship to her peers. Dedicated to the design process and showcasing of work at The BAC, Holly was the recipient of several academic awards, including a Thesis Commends Honor, the Peter Woytuck Scholarship, the William E. Nast Scholarship, and the Segment 1 Portfolio Award. As an alumna, she participates in portfolio reviews, thesis studio reviews, and practice events.

Holly is a designer at ADD Inc, now with Stantec and is engaged in multi-family residential and higher education student housing projects. She is interested in creating socially sustainable architecture and residential design, which elevates all communities. Holly is eager to remain an active member of the BAC community, while seeking opportunities to strengthen the role of the Alumni Board presence, locally and nationwide. She looks forward to representing both the architecture and interior design professions as an accessible liaison to students and alumni.
