Kathleen (Kathi) is a 2000 graduate of the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study (now the Landscape Institute at the BAC) with a certificate in Landscape Design History. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the New England Landscape Design and History Association (NELDHA). Recently, Kathi launched a project for NELDHA, designing a self-guided walking tour of Boston's parks and garden spaces. An enthusiastic group of dedicated volunteers have joined her in this effort. They are researching spaces in two Boston neighborhoods, the South End and the Back Bay. Kathi commented, "Our purpose is to focus on the landscape design and the horticulture in parks and garden spaces, old ones and new ones, the familiar and the less well-known jewels that are tucked away. We expect to have the walking tour on the NELDHA website later this year."
