Steven C. Foster received his professional education at  Michigan State University where he obtained a bachelor of landscape architecture degree in 1980.  After practicing in Ann Arbor Michigan and the Midwest, he relocated to Massachusetts in 1996. Steven has over thirty years of experience working in multi- disciplinary design and planning firms.  Currently, he is a sole practitioner specializing in residential site planning and design.

Mr. Foster has been teaching drafting, landscape construction and site engineering with The Landscape Institute since 2005.  He enjoys sharing his knowledge of landscape design and construction with his students, who will carry on the  responsibility of environmental stewardship of the earth.

A resident of western Massachusetts, Steve teaches workshops at the Berkshire Botanical Gardens and lectures on topics related to graphics and site plan development.
