Steven F. McDonald is president of Erland Construction, an open shop construction management company headquartered in Burlington, Massachusetts, with regional offices in East Windsor and Stamford, Connecticut. Following several years working in the construction industry, Steve joined Erland in 1986 and was named the company's president in 1997.
Educated at Ithaca College, Steve has also studied specialized construction disciplines at Northeastern University and Wentworth Institute. He completed his executive education at Harvard Business School.
Steve has been active in both industry and community endeavors. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Associated General Contractors of Massachusetts and held several leadership positions in the chapter—most recently those of President and member of the Executive Committee. He has also been on the Executive Committee of the Merit Construction Alliance, a pro-business group that promotes growth opportunities within the construction industry. Steve was a member of the Board of Trustees of the Fenn School in Concord, Massachusetts, where he served on several committees including the Building Committee. He has also served as an Overseer for the Boston Architectural College and Bryant University.
Steve lives in Westford with his wife, Donna, and has three sons.
