Suzanne Sowinski is the director of sustainable strategies for Sowinski Sullivan Architects. Named by NJ Biz as one of New Jersey's "Top 50 Women in Business," her designs have been recognized in various national and international publications, including The New York Times, Landscape Architecture Magazine, and Architectural Record. Notable projects include: a zero energy footprint rail station in the Meadowlands, research on sustainable strategies for the Harmon Shop Facilities, a green parking garage study and LEED strategies for MTA/Metro North Railroad stations, and over $800 million worth of buildings that are being designed to meet LEED certification or better status. She received a grant from Boston Architectural College to write a new class on the history of sustainable building.
