Established in 2011, the BAC's low-residency Master of Design Studies track allows students to study from anywhere while maintaining full-time professional employment through a combination of online and face-to-face learning experiences. MDS students in both the Sustainable Design and Historic Preservation programs will come to Boston to participate in the Spring 2013 on-campus intensive. The intensive will include both classroom learning as well and hands-on workshops and activities.
The Boston Architectural College is hosting an interactive and candid panel discussion about the connection between Historic Preservation and Sustainable Design, on Wednesday, January 16, 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM in Cascieri Hall, featuring some of Boston's leading design practitioners:
Jean Carroon, FAIA, LEED AP
Principal, Goody Clancy
Jack Glassman, AIA, LEED AP
Director of Historic Preservation, Hargmann Hendrie + Archetype
James Kostaras, AIA, AICP
Senior Research Associate, Institute for International Urban Development
The Panel Discussion is presented by the Historic Preservation and Sustainable Design Programs within the BAC's School of Design Studies, and is free and open to the public.
