Michael Jakob, Philosopher and Professor of Landscape Architecture, will present The Swiss Touch in Landscape Architecture as part of the Spring 2013 Student Lecture Series on January 30, 6:00 PM in Cascieri Hall.
The lecture will contextualize a corresponding exhibition in McCormick Gallery at the BAC, which showcases a collection of photographs that allow us to experience the influence of significant historic landscape architects from the beginning of the twentieth century to those practicing contemporary landscape architecture today while hinting at the complexity of place and potential activities.
The Swiss Touch in Landscape Architecture is jointly sponsored by Swissnex and the Boston Architectural College, and curated by Michael Jakob.
