A message from Judy Nitsch, Chair, Presidential Search Committee, and Vice Chair, BAC Board of Trustees
Dear BAC Students, Alumni, Faculty, Staff, Administration, Trustees, and Overseers:
Since the last update a month ago, the BAC Presidential Search Committee has completed evaluating the BAC community's online surveys and used that data to finalize the candidate profile. The profile is now on the BAC website and is being used in the market.
The committee continues to work closely with our search partners at Spencer Stuart in identifying, researching, and assessing potential candidates for the BAC's next president. We have had a strong response from the BAC community in terms of nominations for the position, and we will continue to welcome your suggestions throughout the process. The search firm has been in touch with and had conversations with over 200 people relative to this opportunity and, through a rigorous process of evaluation, the committee has recently selected a talented, high-quality pool of candidates for further discussions and interviews. A top priority throughout these evaluations, the shortlisted pool selected is diverse, broadly defined, and representative of the overall BAC community.
