Charles has been practicing Architecture since 2007 and has been with HarrisonKornberg since 2013. Charles’ career has given him experience in all phases of a project, from initial conception through final completion, and a variety of project types, spanning residential, retail, healthcare, educational, and civic work, with a current focus on Higher Education Facilities, particularly learning environments, laboratories, and sports facilities. Aside from strictly leading projects, Charles also specializes in Building Envelopes/Enclosures, and is also helping lead the firm effort to adopt/integrate new technology into design, collaboration, and QAQC workflows.
Charles grew up near Cleveland, Ohio before heading to Atlanta to study Architecture at The Georgia Institute of Technology, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Architecture. In 2017, Charles received his Master of Architecture Degree from the Boston Architectural College on the Distance Track. Outside the office, Charles enjoys woodworking, as well as kayaking, hiking, and other outdoor pursuits.
