Colin Riley is Assistant Director of Real Estate Development at the Boston Architectural College. He brings specialties in real estate finance, real estate capital markets, real estate development, and education to the position.
Colin's entrepreneurial interest in real estate development is concentrated in the most recent five years of professional practice. Some of his projects include three new residential buildings and one major rehab in Boston and Somerville. Colin is the former executive director of a Boston Main Street district, Upham's Corner, where he used real estate expertise to propel the district to a top performing area, winning awards from Staples, NSTAR, and the City of Boston.
Colin graduated from MIT with a Master in City Planning, and Master of Science in Real Estate Development. He also received his Master of Science in Geography from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and his Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University of the West Indies, Mona.
Colin is a member of the Regional Real Estate Advisory Board of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, the Builders of Color Coalition, and the Alumni Association of the MIT Center for Real Estate (AACRE).
