ABX 2014

BAC Hosts Alumni Reception at ABX

Friends and alumni of the Boston Architectural College came together at the BAC's alumni reception at this year's ArchitectureBoston Expo (ABX), held at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center on October 29, 2014. ABX is one of the largest events for the design and construction industry in the country, and the largest regional conference and tradeshow.

The BAC's reception at ABX was an opportunity for alumni to reconnect and network with faculty, staff, students and other members of the BAC community. Alumni reminisced about their time at the BAC, and shared how their experience at the BAC shaped their careers.

The first speaker was Bill Boxx '06, who gave a welcome message and expressed his appreciation to all of the BAC community members who had come together for the reception.

The audience then heard from Stephen Messinger '11, Architectural Designer at Perkins+Will, who thanked the BAC staff for organizing the event and bringing the BAC community together. He also encouraged alumni to stay connected with the BAC in order to ensure another 125 successful years for the school.

The night concluded with an address from Acting President Julia Halevy, who thanked alumni and the rest of the BAC community for gathering together to connect and engage with each other.

The BAC hosts an alumni reception each year at ABX, presenting the opportunity for alumni, faculty, staff, and current students to get involved in the BAC community.
