Evan Gallivan

Evan H. Gallivan is the Vice President of Institutional Advancement for the Boston Architectural College. As vice president, Evan works to advance the College's mission through leading all aspects of the Office of Institutional Advancement, which includes Development, Governance, and Communications. Evan sets the strategy and leads all fundraising and development efforts, including annual giving, corporate, foundation, major, and planned gifts, alumni relations, stewardship and donor relations, and advancement services. He also manages the Board of Trustees and Overseers and partners with the President and Board Chair of the Boston Architectural College to set short- and long-term strategies for board governance. As a key member of the president's cabinet, he addresses all matters pertaining to the College's strategic growth with the president, provost, and vice presidents of Finance and Enrollment Management. Lastly, he oversees all aspects of external communications for the College, including development communications and public relations.

Evan received his BA from Wheaton College in Norton, MA and his MBA from Northeastern University in Marketing and Organizational Behavior. He is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and has extensive fundraising experience in higher education in the Boston community, having served several years at both Harvard and Northeastern Universities in a variety of areas of fundraising. Prior to joining the BAC, Evan served as a major gifts officer at Northeastern University where he cultivated and solicited high net-worth alumni for leadership and planned gifts. He also partnered with the faculty to secure foundation grants.

At Harvard Business School (HBS), he worked in Donor Relations and was responsible for various aspects of endowed fund administration and donor stewardship reporting. Before that, he facilitated HBS class-reunion campaigns through volunteer management of peer-to-peer prospect identification and solicitation for the HBS Fund. Evan developed his passion and commitment to advancing education through philanthropy from volunteer fundraising for his prep school, Wilbraham and Monson Academy in Wilbraham, MA.
