Michael Daniels is the Director for Foundation Student Support at the BAC, where he helps guide students into and through their first year of academic study. His work focuses on the admission and orientation processes; academic and Practice advising; and program development, management, and assessment. With a BFA from the Art Institute of Boston, Mike was introduced to the BAC as a freehand drawing instructor in 2001. He joined staff as an Enrollment Counselor in 2002 before moving to Advising in 2004, where he focused on students' academic and Practice success. Since 2006, he has worked specifically with first year students and has taught courses designed to ramp up students' capabilities in drawing, drafting, and modeling; written, verbal, and graphic communication; time management; and Practice readiness. Outside of the BAC, Mike maintains strong observational skills through daily sketching, photography, and searching for golf balls.
