On November 13, the signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement between the School of Architecture in Chang'an University and the BAC was held at Chang'an University in Xi'an, China. President Mahesh Daas met with Liu Qibo, Vice Dean of the School of Architecture, Yu Xiaohui, Assistant Dean of the School of Architecture, Zhang Lei, Director of Architecture Department, Liu Wei, Deputy Director of the Architecture Department, and some faculty members.

Liu Qibo, on behalf of all the faculty and students of Chang'an University School of Architecture, expressed sincere greetings and a warm welcome to President Daas. The two sides expressed that the cooperation between the two schools will surely be an academic feast to promote mutual exchanges between teachers and students of both sides. The signing of the agreement set up the friendship bridge between teachers and students of both sides. The ceremony also focused on joint education programs, organized seminars, publications, and other issues.

The Chang'an School of Architecture was formed in 2000 and offers three degree programs: Architecture, Urban and Rural Planning, and Environmental Art Design. There are 1340 students who attend the school, including 1095 undergraduate students, 236 graduate students, and 9 doctoral students.
