The BAC 2021 Graduate Exhibit

The Boston Architectural College commends a new generation of socially conscious designers with these exciting exhibits—virtually and on view at McCormick Gallery!

We are thrilled to present the work of the BAC 2021 degree recipients from undergraduate and graduate programs in Architecture, Design Studies, Interior Architecture, and Landscape Architecture.  

This year, many students used their work to address themes of displacement as experienced—through the pandemic, through struggles of racial inequality, through emerging identities, and through climate crises.

The BAC is recognized with distinction for its leadership role in educating an extraordinarily diverse student body to help bring about social equity through the design of landscapes, of architecture, of interior architecture, of sustainable and historic spaces, and of spaces for human health. We are at the forefront of learning from practice and academic study with guidance from our brilliant practitioners, faculty members, and supporters. 

The dynamic between ideas and practice in the community is the basis for the meaningful, critical design thinking exemplified in this curated exhibit. The critical work of these designers directly affects how we will live and envision the future. 

Our genuine gratitude goes to the faculty members and the practicing professionals who guide our students, and who are committed to educational excellence at the BAC.
