Before A. Glen Kewley received his Certificate in Historic Preservation from The Boston Architectural College (BAC), he studied Architecture at the University of Texas. Following graduation, he went on to obtain a graduate degree in Business from Harvard University in 1990. His passion for architecture never waned and throughout his thirty plus years in the financial industry, he remained involved with architecture by working on projects for family and friends in both the USA and France.
It was during this time that he realized he wanted to combine his passion for architecture and history, so he enrolled at the BAC and received his Certificate in Historic Preservation in 2022.
He is currently working on three projects in France - the restoration of a 900-year-old chateau (which is a Class 1 monument with the Monument Historique) and a 200-year-old French farmhouse - both in the Occitanie region of France; and also a 300-year-old chateau in Normandy.
Glen’s passion for alumni relations is evident as he is the former Secretary and Vice President for the Harvard Alumni Association, as well as a former President of the Texas Exes Alumni Association for the University of Texas. He is currently the Vice President of the Harvard Club of Austin.
Glen divides his time between his residences in the United States and in the South of France.
