Donald Hunsicker is dean and faculty of the School of Design Studies at the Boston Architectural College.  He has a long standing association with the BAC.  Prior to assuming his current position in 2004, he was a BAC student from 1973 to 1975, an adjunct faculty from 1983 to 1991, teaching Construction Contract Administration, and from 1991 to 2003, teaching Professional Practice.  Don has continued to teach Professional Practice to since joining the BAC staff as Dean.

He earned a Master of Architecture degree from Washington University in 1976.  After practicing architecture for twelve years, he founded the Hunsicker Corporation, a construction and program management firm dedicated to providing development and construction services to building owners.  He has extensive experience in managing design and construction projects as an architect, general contractor, and owner’s representative ranging from $500,000 to $125,000,000.  Don is also experienced in construction dispute resolution having served for many years as a construction case expert witness, arbitrator and mediator.
