Haotian Deng, MLA’17, earned her Master of Landscape Architecture from The Boston Architectural College, where she graduated with honors for her thesis, receiving the Thesis Excellence Award. Following her graduation, she spent seven years at Gregory Lombardi Design, refining her skills as a landscape designer. In 2019, Haotian founded Wildleaf Inc. in Boston, establishing the company as a leader in biophilic design across North America. Under her leadership, Wildleaf has completed notable projects for clients such as Tesla, American Express, US Open, Colliers, Accenture, and Alibaba, integrating natural elements into contemporary spaces and earning LEED credits.

In addition to Wildleaf, Haotian co-founded TLA Design in Beijing in 2020. This firm specializes in high-end residential projects that blend aesthetic elegance with Beijing's cultural nuances. TLA's projects serve an elite clientele, including celebrities and business leaders, emphasizing the transformative power of nature in luxury living.

Haotian was recognized as one of The NYC Journal’s 40 Under 40 in 2024, and her work at Wildleaf has also been acknowledged by Fast Company’s Innovation by Design Awards. As a young entrepreneurial woman, Haotian is dedicated to applying the design skills she honed at BAC to the business world. She aims to bring more natural elements into urban spaces, creating environments where people can feel more connected to nature, ultimately improving their well-being and quality of life.
