Hongbing Tang, ASLA, RLA, has over 20 years of professional experience in architecture, landscape architecture, and regional planning. Hongbing has been a registered landscape architect in Massachusetts since 2000. She worked at Carol R. Johnson Associates, Inc. in Boston for seven years and at several other renowned landscape architectural and construction companies in the US and China for years before she co-founded LANDD International LLC.
Hongbing has designed and managed a wide range of projects in the US and China with creative design solutions. She brings a unique cross-cultural perspective to her practice. Her work has engaged with local and global issues regarding sustainable design, art, and cultural landscapes.
Hongbing holds a Master of Landscape Architecture and a Master of Regional Planning from University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Bachelor of Architecture from Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. She also studied at McGill University in Canada and holds a graduate diploma from the School of Architecture there.
As a volunteer, Hongbing is active in community education and served on the planning board and design review board for the Town of Boxborough, MA. She is currently a member of the Acton-Boxborough Cultural Council.
