Kate Spinelli, IIDA, MID'11, is a Principal and Director of Interiors at isgenuity, focusing on institutional work in New England.

After graduating from Villanova University in Philadelphia with a Bachelors of Science in Business, she began her design career in Boston at isgenuity while earning her Master of Interior Design degree at The Boston Architectural College. During her 18-year tenure at isgenuity, Kate has worked on hundreds of healthcare, higher education, and science and technology projects. She has also worked with world-class institutions to develop, implement and maintain design standards for their campuses.

Kate is passionate about healthy materials and the impact of the design profession on people and the planet. Her “do no harm” approach to design seeks to continually move the needle on creating healthy, joyful spaces within the institutional sector.
