Kellie Bean is the Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs at The Boston Architectural College and is thrilled to live in the city of Boston. Kellie brings over 25 years of experience as an educator and senior academic administrator serving small, non-profit, mission-driven institutions to the BAC. She aids in critical work to continue making progress on the BAC strategic goals.
Kellie has dedicated her career to increasing access to higher education for traditionally underserved populations and has worked with institutions on a range of initiatives related to student success, faculty development and support, operational fitness and improvement, strategic curricular planning as well as workforce development, program creation, and implementation.
Kellie received a Ph.D. in English Literature and Cultural/Feminist Theory from the University of Delaware as well as a Master of Arts in English and a Bachelor of Arts in Drama from The Ohio State University. With her background in drama and education, Kellie has developed a passion for writing plays about academics.
Prior to joining the BAC, Kellie was the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost for Rio Grande University/Rio Grande Community College. She has also worked for institutions such as Marshall University, Northern Vermont University, Hartwick College, and more.
