Michael Radner is Principal of Radner Design Associates, founded in 2001. He brings 30 years of design and project management experience to his teaching role at the BAC, having completed hundreds of design commissions in a wide variety of project types, especially in institutional, multi-family, commercial, open space and retail settings. He has particular expertise in participating in multi-disciplinary design teams, collaborating with civil engineers, soils scientists, traffic planners, ecologists, and architects, whether as the prime consultant or as a team member.
Michael has particular interests in low impact development, environmentally sensitive design, and in applying traditional design principles in contemporary settings to create beautiful and functional places for people.
He is a long time member of the American Society of Landscape Architects, sits on the Executive Committee of the Boston Society of Landscape Architects, and acts as its Public Awareness Chair. Michael is registered to practice Landscape Architecture in MA, NY, and NH.
