Richard L. Martini, AIA, B.Arch '84, executive managing director of The Fallon Company, actively oversees the development of projects from initial concept and budgets through planning, design, approvals, construction, opening, and operations. His expertise is mixed use projects with complex design, budget, and coordination challenges. He joined the Fallon Company in 2002 and is a partner in several company development projects. Throughout his career, he has overseen and directed more than $6 billion of development and construction projects throughout North America.
Richard formerly served as senior vice president of design and construction for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, overseeing all design and construction for six major hotel brands. Over five years, he was responsible for several industry leading initiatives, including the first three "W" Branded Hotels, and complete design repositioning for the Westin and Sheraton brands.
Richard, a registered architect in several states, has received several awards over his career, including the Grand Award from the Urban Land Institute, Best Condominium Project under $200K, and Best Rental Project. Richard earned his Bachelor of Architecture from the Boston Architectural College in 1984.
