Robert Gillig is the Director of Advanced Architecture Studios in the School of Architecture at The Boston Architectural College. He has been a registered architect in Kentucky and Massachusetts, as well as a Certified Passive House Consultant since 2012. Prior to teaching at the BAC, Robert was adjunct and associate professor of architecture at Wentworth Institute of Technology and adjunct professor of architecture at Rhode Island School of Design. He also served as director of The University of Kentucky College of Architecture's Boston Program from 1996 to 1998. In addition to teaching experience,
Robert has over 30 years of professional experience, including a partnership at Cuttitta + Gillig Architects in Cambridge, MA. Robert holds a Bachelor of Architecture and Master of Architecture from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. His work incorporates architectural theory and design, computer programming, and solar energy.
