Robin Willcox is an architect at Ebbrell Architecture + Design, focusing on commercial work throughout New England.
After graduating from the University of California, Berkeley with a BS in Business, she moved to Boston to study at The Boston Architectural College and began her design career with Carr, Lynch, Hack, and Sandell (CLHS) in Cambridge, MA. At CLHS she worked on projects that spanned architecture, landscape design, and urban design. She was part of the team that won an international competition for the Perth Foreshore Master Plan in Perth, Australia.
From 1994-2005, she served on the Planning Board in the town of Hamilton, MA developing expertise in the public land-use planning process and policy-making.
She is interested in issues of inclusivity and accessibility, aging-in-place, integrating landscape and nature with building design, and is a member of ANFA – Academy of Neurosciences for Architecture. In the summer of 2022, Robin attended the ‘Moving Boundaries 2022’ conference in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, and Porto, Portugal – exploring the interface between design of the built environment and scientific disciplines concerned with human perception and behavior.
