Samira Ahmadi is the Founding Principal of enviENERGY Studio LLC, an energy and sustainability consulting firm serving regional and national clients. Her practice specializes in providing sustainable solutions for the built environment, with a focus on energy performance analyses for new constructions and existing building retrofits. These projects often aim for sustainability certifications, energy upgrades, decarbonization, enhanced occupant health and comfort, and post-occupancy evaluation, measurement, and verification.
Samira is an active member of the U.S. Green Building Council and Built Environment Plus and contributes to the ASHRAE Building Energy Modeling Professional Committee. Samira holds a Master of Science in Building Performance and Diagnostics from Carnegie Mellon University, a Master of Architecture from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from Azad University of Tehran. As an advocate for sustainability and energy efficiency in the built environment, Samira has previously served on the Board of Directors for the USGBC Massachusetts Chapter. Her dedication and contributions to the field have made her a respected voice in promoting sustainable practices and energy-efficient solutions.
