"I, Nobot. Mahesh Daas and Andrew John Wit." (Book Cover)
"I, Nobot" by Mahesh Daas and Andrew John Wit.

Join us as we celebrate the highly-anticipated release of President Mahesh Daas' latest book, a captivating graphic novella "I, Nobot!" in collaboration with Andrew John Wit, Associate Professor at the Tyler School of Art and Architecture at Temple University.

Using literature and poetry narrated from an AI's viewpoint, this dystopian tale explores the essence of humanity in an era dominated by robots and AI, and conversely, the essence of robots in a post-human world. Central to "I, Nobot!" is the pressing question: will advancing AI eclipse human creativity?

The authors dive deep into the debate around AI's emerging role in the creative industries. Should we be wary of AI taking over, or enthusiastic about its possibilities? What does this book reveal about the uniqueness of human creativity? How might AI transform art, architecture, film, and literature in the future? How might AI change our understanding of being human?

Join us in person at Cascieri Hall or on Zoom for this timely conversation on a topic relevant to us all!
