Healing spaces explores how architecture can nurture well-being, transforming buildings and cities into places of comfort and belonging. By embracing renaturalization, reuse, and human-centered design, architecture redefines the city as a landscape of care, where nature and the built environment intertwine to cultivate warmth and connection within the urban fabric.
Through thoughtful materiality and organic forms, architecture can evoke a sense of home in collective spaces, softening the boundaries between the intimate and the public realm. By reimagining urban environments with empathy, architects have the power to transform cities into nurturing settings that support both individual healing and collective well-being.
Join us for the 34th Cascieri Lecture featuring Benedetta Tagliabue, Hon'25, on Wednesday, February 4 at 6PM EST in Cascieri Hall or virtually!
