Welcome to the Boston Architectural College! We are happy to have you join our diverse and dynamic student community! The Office of Student Life is happy to kick off your BAC experience with an in-person New Student Orientation, a series of social activities, welcoming conversations, and helpful resources to get you started on the right foot.

Tuesday: January 17

MOVE-IN DAY for BAC students who will live the Residence Hallat New England Conservatory.


INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ORIENTATION* at 951 Boylston Street, Boston,MA in First Floor Beehive Conference Room.

*Attendance is required for all international students.


9AM – International Student Breakfast & Meet and Greet with student leaders from BACultural


10AM – International Student F-1 Orientation


12PM – International Student Lunch with Student Leaders


1PM-2:30PM – Cultural Adjustment & Life in U.S. Workshop 

Wednesday: January 18

STUDENT ORIENTATION* at 320 Newbury Street, Boston, MA, in Second Floor Cascieri Hall.

*Attendance is required for all incoming students.


9AM – Welcome – with Richard Griswold, BAC Associate VicePresident and Dean of Students, followed by introductions with student Orientation Leaders.


10AM – Academic Advising and Expectations with Michael Daniels, Director of Foundation Student Support and Rebecca Chabot-Wieferich, Associate VP for Enrollment Management


11AM – Meet the Dean of your Academic Program (Locations TBA)


12PM – Lunch with the Office of Student Life


1PM – CityLab Overview

Thursday: January 19

Student Orientation* at 320 Newbury Street, Boston, MA, inSecond Floor Cascieri Hall.

*Attendance is required for all incoming students.


9AM – Meet Orientation Leaders for Campus Tour


10AM – Computer Resource Basics: Moodle, BAC email, GoogleDrive, etc.


11AM – Time to answer questions about Financial Aid, Advising, Health Insurance, etc.


12PM – Lunch with the Practice Department


1PM-4PM – Visits to Design Firms. Orientation Leaders will escort you to a visit in a Boston design office.


4PM – Reception with President Mahesh Daas
