Hello and happy spring greetings to the entire BAC Community! Along with friendlier weather, and sprouting plant life, the new season brings a promising outlook for the year. So, I am excited to share our plans for the fall semester with you today.

This fall semester, the BAC plans to offer hybrid learning experiences by reopening the campus buildings and combining in-person and remote learning to provide our students the best of both worlds. So, for those of you who will not be able to move to the Boston region, we will continue to offer remote or fully online learning.

Our faculty and staff are working tirelessly to develop detailed plans keeping in mind the best- and worst-case scenarios depending on the conditions and guidance provided by our state and local authorities. We are striving to balance safety and learning by maintaining flexibility to scale up or down the access to campus based on the conditions in fall.

If your plans are to travel to Boston, we encourage you to begin making living and transportation arrangements. I am eager to see many of you in person this fall on our Boston campus!

We also know the pandemic continues to impact many countries with limited vaccination, and therefore poses challenges in accessing consulates for visas or making travel arrangements to Boston. We are here to support you and ensure you always have access to the BAC’s top-ranked and distinctive education. We encourage you to reach out to your BAC advisor with any questions or concerns.

The last year has proven the BAC community is highly resilient and responsive to changes in world conditions. We have shown strength and wisdom in how we plan, respond, and manage under challenging situations. We will keep you updated regularly through the student newsletter, faculty and staff newsletters, as well as special announcements and short video communications toward the end of the spring semester as we learn more about the specifics of our plans for the fall.

Stay safe, stay well, and see you in person or virtually in Boston this fall! Thank you!

Sincerely,
Dr. Mahesh Daas, President
