Christian Boran
BLA’18

Christian began his design career in architecture, however, after realizing a deep passion for sustainability and ecology, he changed majors midway through at The Boston Architectural College. These interests led him to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture in 2017.

While enrolled at the BAC, Christian’s work primarily focused on restoring the natural functions of urban sites, implementing stormwater infiltration projects, rehabilitating decaying infrastructure to perform essential purposes, and reintroducing precolonial ecological functions to an otherwise postcolonial urban fabric. Projects such as these not only impact a broader demographic of people but also assist in favorable environmental outcomes, something he takes a keen interest in.

Christian joined Lemon Brooke in 2021 where he has been working on various projects ranging from large-scale, mixed-use developments to school playgrounds. The project diversity allows him to work through all aspects of the design process and utilize a wide range of skills.

In his free time, Christian enjoys being in the company of friends and family, especially if it involves skiing the many slopes of New England, or if weather permits, spending weekends on the Cape.
