Lindsay Hummer
Vice President of Institutional Advancement

Lindsay Hummer is the Vice President of Institutional Advancement at The Boston Architectural College. Lindsay’s development career spans nearly two decades involving major organizations, including a global single-disease nonprofit, an AAU flagship research university, and an academic medical center.

Along with an adeptness at building positive relationships, she brings a strong focus on the betterment of the larger community and a passion for engaging through volunteerism. Since 2005, Lindsay has raised $72 million for mission-driven purposes. It is this ability to engage with colleagues and build key relationships, which strengthens the BAC’s culture of philanthropy.

Lindsay received a Bachelor’s from Rockhurst University in Communications, Non-Profit Leadership, and Political Science; a Master of Public Administration from Kansas University; and was recognized with a Leadership Fellowship from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Center for Creative Leadership. Along with her educational background, Lindsay has been recognized with numerous awards and acknowledgments including the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Award for Outstanding Public Service Benefiting Communities.

Prior to joining the BAC, Lindsay was development director, Neurosciences, Kansas University (KU) Medical Center, where she served as lead fundraiser for Neurology, Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, and Rehabilitation Medicine. Additional positions held at KU include development director, School of Architecture & Design (Arc/D); associate development director, School of Architecture & Design; she also served as national manager, corporate partnership development at JDRF International (formerly the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation).
