2022 Fellows Program Virtual Open House

Urban Planning & Summer Academy Fellows Program is a paid summer position created for high school aged City of Boston residents who are curious about careers in urban planning and design. This pre-college program introduces students to a future of studying urban planning and/or urban design with leading professionals and peers in the Boston area, as well as around the globe. As fellows, students are enrolled in two programs that together are designed to support and enhance student learning, Summer Academy Design Program plus the Urban Planning Fellows Program as pre-professional training:

• Urban Planning Fellows Program: This program prepares students for urban planning and urban design professional practice. 
• Summer Academy Design Program: This program is designed for high school students who are curious about starting a career in architecture, interior design and landscape design with hands-on design and material exercises.

Who is eligible?
High school students aged 14*-18 who are currently residents of the City of Boston *must turn age 15 by September 1, 2022

Program Details:

• Program Dates: June 27th - August 5th (except July 4th)
• Program Times: 10am - 3:30pm
