The Boston Architectural College’s 2023 Commencement Ceremony will be held on Friday, May 26, 2023, from 11am-1pm at the Berklee Performance Center, Boston, MA.

We are thrilled to announce that the 2023 Commencement Ceremony will be an in-person event. We look forward to gathering as a community to recognize your accomplishments and celebrate your success!

The BAC will also live stream our Commencement Ceremony for those unable to attend in-person on our BAC YouTube Channel.

Please see the Commencement Day timeline along with important information detailed below for our graduates, guests, and friends of the BAC.

Important Information

On Commencement Day, all graduates are to meet at 320 Newbury Street campus building to obtain diploma lineup cards, berets, and pins. Graduates will be able to enjoy a light brunch and receive your regalia. A graduate class photo will be taken in front of the main campus building, followed by the parade to the Berklee Performance Center for the Commencement Ceremony.

Please see the exact timeline of events below for May 26, 2023:


Friday, May 26, 2023


8:30AM –  Cascieri Hall doors open for the graduates to enjoy light brunch.


10:00AM –   Commencement Ceremony participants must arrive and check in by this time to receive berets, BAC pin, and assemble in Cascieri Hall to dress in regalia.


10:30AM – Group Photo – Graduating students gather in front of 320 Newbury Street for Class photo.


10:40AM – Parade Procession line up – Graduating students line up for parade procession.


10:45AM –  Parade begins down Newbury Street to the Berklee Performance Center.


10:50AM – Arrival at the Berklee Performance Center.


11:00AM – The Commencement 2023 Ceremony begins. 


1:00PM – The Commencement Ceremony ends. 

Please pick up your diploma at 951 Boylston Street immediately after the Ceremony.

If you will be spending time on the campus, please review the BAC's COVID Safety Protocols.

Please note that tickets* for the in-person Commencement Ceremony are required for entrance and seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis. You may obtain tickets* from your graduate.

For our guests who cannot attend in person, the Commencement Ceremony will be live-streamed.


10:30AM –   Doors open at Berklee Performance Center.


11:00AM – The Commencement Ceremony begins. 


1:00PM – The Commencement Ceremony ends. 


*The invitations given to BAC Graduates when they pick up their regalia are the tickets for guests to gain access to the Commencement Day venue, Berklee Performance Center, which is conveniently located one block away from the BAC at 136 Massachusetts Ave., Boston. It is important to note that only those with tickets will be admitted.

We are excited to welcome you to the Re-Commencement experience to participate in the ceremony and an Alumni Social. Please contact commencement@the-bac.edu to register for the ceremony by April 21, 2023, and for any questions.

We ask that invitees/ticket holders plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to the scheduled event. The current health and safety protocols for the Berklee Performance Center is as follows:

  • Masks are optional at all ticketed and non-ticketed Berklee events.
  • Berklee Performance Center does not have any vaccination or testing requirements for event attendees. Anyone experiencing potential COVID-19 symptoms should not attend Berklee Performance Center events.

Please stay at home if you:

  • are sick or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19;
  • have come into close contact with an individual diagnosed with COVID-19;
  • are awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test; or
  • have been directed to quarantine by a health care provider or public official. Contact the box office to inquire about a refund. The refund policy may vary by event/promoter.
