The Boston Architectural College is pleased to announce that Denise Rush, Director of Undergraduate Interior Architecture at the BAC, has been selected as a panelist at the ASIID NE Design Career Panel on October 21 at the Boston Design Center.

Denise will represent the education field alongside Sarah Campernel, Assistant Professor of Interior Design at Endicott College. The panel, moderated by ASID NE Emerging Professional Chair, Ryan Tirrell, will be an opportunity for students pursuing a career in the design field to hear from successful professionals and learn about their work experiences. A variety of disciplines, including architecture, landscape architecture, commercial/residential design, and design photography, will be represented among the panel.

"It is an honor to be selected as a panelist alongside leading industry professionals in Boston," said Denise. "As a professional designer and educator at the BAC, I strive to help aspiring designers achieve their career goals. I look forward to the opportunity to speak to a broader set of students about my own experiences and help them navigate the evolving nature of the design industry."

Topics to be discussed are: education, the job search process, career paths, goals, work and life balances, the Boston job market, and more. Students in the audience will have the opportunity to ask questions after the panel is complete.

Denise has been an active member of ASID throughout her tenure at the BAC. In June, Denise was named to the ASID Board of Directors and she also serves on the ASID Foundation Board of Trustees as a liaison.
