The Boston Architectural College is pleased to announce Denise Rush, Director of Undergraduate Interior Architecture, has been named to the board of directors of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).

The board governs ASID, meeting quarterly to provide strategic direction on the industry and profession, set policy, and act on behalf of the overall membership. The 11-member volunteer board is composed of three officers (president, president-elect, and past president), seven at-large directors, and one industry partner representative.

Denise brings years of interior design experience to her new role on the ASID board of directors. Her project work encompasses several practice areas: commercial office, education, healthcare, and residential. The scope and locations of the projects range from small to large and local to international.

"I am honored to be elected to serve on ASID's national board as a director at large," said Denise. "I look forward to working with this stellar group of leaders in the interior design profession."

Denise is elected to the board at a special time for ASID; 2015 marks the Society's 40th anniversary. There will be a celebration of their anniversary and the individuals and organizations that are transforming lives through design in Boston on July 18.

Please join the BAC and interior design community in congratulating Denise on this accomplishment!
