Boston Architectural College’s Pre-College Summer Programs introduced nearly 200 high school students to the fundamentals of architecture and design through hands-on studio work, urban planning exercises, and collaborative projects. Participating in both the on‑campus Summer Academy-Boston and the online version Summer Academy-Global, where students from as far as Uzbekistan, Brazil, and Saudi Arabia joined a shared virtual studio, students move between sketching, model building, and conversations that stretch their understanding of how ideas become spaces. Through these BAC Pre-College programs, high school students learn what it feels like to think—and work—like designers, setting them up for successful lives in college and beyond.
