The Boston Architectural College announces the appointment of Kellie Bean, Ph.D., as the Vice President of Academic Affairs.
After serving as the Interim Vice President of Academic Affairs with remarkable dedication and expertise, Kellie's transition to the position is a testament to her exceptional leadership and contributions to the BAC community.
“I am honored to be joining the BAC as Vice President of Academic Affairs. After spending five months in the interim role, I have come to appreciate how everyone at the BAC works to support our students and to manifest our mission and vision,” said Kellie Bean. “I am excited to be part of an organization where the people are truly dedicated to designing for a better world.”
During her time as Interim Vice President of Academic Affairs, Kellie has demonstrated exemplary leadership skills along with a commitment to fostering an environment of innovation, collaboration, and academic excellence. Her dedication to mentoring and empowering faculty members has led to the continued growth and success of the BAC's academic programs per our BAC to the Future strategic plan.
As the Vice President of Academic Affairs, Kellie will continue to champion innovation, strengthen partnerships across the College's community, and cultivate a culture of excellence. Her leadership and collaborative approach will positively impact the BAC's expanding role of shaping architectural education, while also empowering our students to become the next generation of visionary architects and designers.
