Starting as a 'Club,' reorganized as a 'Center,' and transformed into a 'College,' today's Boston Architectural College (BAC) holds an illustrious history of educating designers and architects. The exhibition, The BAC: 130 Years of Design, Architecture, and Education, presents the institution's legacy through its contributions to the design profession and larger society. Since its founding in 1889, the BAC has embraced a culture of applied learning. This exhibition celebrates the history of the BAC's development as an institution and highlights its teaching and pedagogical evolution through selected works of students and Dean Arcangelo Cascieri.
